Book collection

The CEDEJ Digital Book Collection provides open access to a selection of public-domain works held by the Centre’s library. Its historical holdings are largely inherited from the library of the French School of Law in Cairo and form an important part of CEDEJ’s documentary collections. Covering law, history, geography, economics, politics, and the social sciences, these books provide valuable sources for the study of Egypt and the region over different periods. Through APNE, they are being digitized and made freely available online, ensuring the preservation and wider circulation of a collection closely associated with the history of French research in Egypt.
